Welcome to Weto Logistics. By engaging our services, booking shipments through our portal, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
These terms govern all services provided by Weto Logistics, including Air Freight, Ocean Cargo, Land Transportation, and Warehousing services. Please read them carefully before submitting packages.
2. Terms of Carriage
Weto Logistics reserves the right to inspect all packages tendered for transport. However, inspection does not guarantee that the cargo is legal, safe, or packed adequately according to carrier regulations.
Prohibited Goods: We do not accept hazardous waste, illegal substances, explosive materials, or live animals unless covered under a specialized custom commercial shipping contract.
3. Limits of Liability
Our baseline cargo liability is limited to the declared value of the goods, up to a maximum of $100 per parcel, or $20 per kilogram, whichever is less, unless additional shipping insurance is purchased by the client during booking.
Weto Logistics is not liable for delayed deliveries, business revenue losses, or damages resulting from Acts of God, weather anomalies, custom inspections, or war conditions (Force Majeure).
4. Cargo Claims
All claims for damage or missing cargo must be filed in writing within 14 calendar days of the delivery date. For completely lost cargo, claims must be made within 30 days of the scheduled delivery date.
Claims must include original receipt invoices, package dimensions, dynamic tracking IDs, and photographs representing packing condition and damage.
5. Fees & Payments
Freight rates quotes generated by our calculators are estimates. Final billing is determined upon weight audits at our JFK sorting warehouses. All invoices must be cleared within 30 days of shipment dispatch.
Overdue payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly financing charge. Weto Logistics reserves the right to hold cargo under lien until unpaid balances are fully resolved.
